A Little Downy

Today Ellie decided that she didn't want to nap......I finally took her for a ride and she fell asleep almost immediately.  Then I found a shady spot to enjoy a book for an hour before I had to wake her for her swim lessons. She did okay at the lessons, but she was little chilled. I think she was so cozy warm in the car and it made the pool water feel cooler to her. 

We spent a lot of time outside on the deck today.....it was a very pleasant day. That is where we saw this young Downy Woodpecker on a perch nearby us.
