Waiting for chicken

Maximus had a good run tonight. He is very happy to be home and not living in a hotel. I chose Maximus for world photography day because he brings me much happiness and that is what I like to photograph. It is easy to get bogged down in annoyances that are really very minor in perspective. But a photo of my great nephew Nicholas, of my siblings and friends - so precious because it captures a moment in time. And makes me see what is important. Really all we have and so good to remember. My mom smiling with Nicholas in her arms - 10 months on this earth meets 94 years.
