World Photography Day

Since today is World Photography Day I must take the time to reflect on what photography means to me. In the last almost ten years I have never missed a day without my camera in my hands at some point, or if not my camera then my phone. If it’s a busy day I may not take as much time for the perfect picture, but I’m always looking. Photography helps me see what others may miss. . It’s capturing the significant and insignificant times in the lives of my grandsons. It’s a reason to get up each morning and move and look around me. It’s a gift I’ve been given to exercise creativity. I really don’t know what I would do without my camera!
Grateful today...for photographers everywhere who share their world with all of us. Especially my fellow blippers!
