back to the babes

Waking up to happy children was pretty awesome! I don’t think they’d missed us particularly but they were definitely hopeful for presents.

A nice chilled day of organising ourselves and checking out a property in Barnsley recently taken on by the National Trust. We’re intrigued to see what they do with it - the gardens and parkland are massive and must have been a huge task to look after when it was run privately. We mainly ventured over there as large parts of Lyme are still out of action after the floods (the most notable from our point of view being the playground).

Gratefuls:

1. My hardworking little sister who is completing her masters dissertation which I read today;
2. Antony being good at finding beautiful places to explore;
3. Lots of time to play with the children.
