The Famous Flowerbed.

This is the flowerbed opposite our kitchen window. For the last few years our council have planted it and generally looked after it but this year they decided there was no money left for flowerbeds. However, the council nurserymen had the plants all ready to go out. So MaggieD and a couple of our friends applied for sufficient begonias to fill this and another similar bed down the road. All this happened while I was off gallivanting in New Zealand!
However, we have been carefully tending “our” flowerbed throughout the summer and this is me spraying on some foliar feeding in the hope that we can keep them going for a few weeks yet.
