Resolutions & Goals for 2013
Hi Everyone!
So, as promised, today I'm putting up my list of resolutions and goals for 2013. We start off with the classic fitness themed resolution that 90% of the country will have.
Next, I have the thing that my parents have been moaning at me to do for a long time (and I agree!). They bugged me for years to go out with friends more and stuff like that, which I never did. Now is time to start doing something about it, although I'm not sure what!
Ok, the next one is very broad, but it makes sense. A lot of times, I don't do things because I'm afraid of what people will think of me. This year, that won't be the case!
After that, is something I used to be, but not as much anymore. For example, something I want to do is start helping at school more, such as helping out first years, maybe even going to classes with people that need extra help (That wont be until after summer though, when I'm in 5th year and have some free periods).
Next up is something I've already failed at! I'll try and get them up earlier more often!
Yes, I want to join a club, gain a skill, something like that. Me and Bianka are considering joining badminton club at school, so I'll keep you up to date with how that turns out.
Now, the next one is something which I often laugh and joke about, but it is quite serious. As far as I can remember, I had 2 social events in the whole of 2012. One was going to the cinema in October with Bianka, and the other was going to winter wonderland with 2 friends. I often go out on walks wig Craig and his friend, but I don't think that really counts. So yeah, getting a social life of some kind.
The next one is something that has kept me back for years. I may go into greater detail about it in the future, but for now, I'll just leave it at that.
6 A's out of 8 subjects may seem a bit much (especially considering I only got 4 A's in prelims), but I'm sure if I work hard enough, and don't panic in the exams, I can do it!
I think I always seem to be saying depressing things on here (for instance, the other day I said about missing primary, and today it's about all of my shortcomings), so that's something I'm going to try and do less of.
Right, those are my main goals for this year. Lets see how many I'll achieve! And I'm sure I'll come up with more!
Good luck with all your resolutions! And I hope 2013 is a good year for you!!!!
Steven :)
