A day in the life

Have a drink

We've had a "normal" summer this year, according to the Swedish weather institute, compared to last years drought. That means the groundwater levels are rising but they are still lower than they ought to be. I wrote about it in July when I took a picture of one of the wells, you can see the extra here. Today I took another picture of the same well, a month later after a rainy end of July, early august. It's hard to see the level because the lid was almost covering the well but you see it was much lower a month ago.

So, the cows can get fresh water again. All they have to do is to press the lever with their muzzle a few times and have a drink. As you can see, they have already done that a lot.
