Birling Gap
We went to Brighton and went up the BA i360 tower. Good, though expensive, and not very good for photography due to the curved glass and reflections, wonderful views though.
Then we drove along the coast towards Beachy Head and after the ribbon development of Brighton and its surroundings, came to the South Downs National Park. The development abruptly ceased and the area is beautiful. We parked at Birling Gap National Trust car park and walked towards Beachy Head with its cute little red lighthouse
It was ridiculously windy and you had to be quite careful up on the cliff tops with their sheer drops and unprotected edges.
The photo is of a different lighthouse , I’m trying to find out about it but WiFi is somewhat flaky. It shows the sheer drop and the beautiful white cliffs, looking towards the Seven Sisters direction, which LooseCanon is blipping.
