Westminster

Today was my last day in the UK, as we fly home tomorrow. I have come down with Mark's stinking cold, but still managed to get to Rochester to see Sharon, Maidstone to see my Dad and then get to Westminster in time to meet Mark and his best man Simon for dinner. Simon works in parliament and 2 of his work colleagues joined us for dinner. They were nothing like I would have expected and seemed more interested in the plight of the bee, than in anything political, which was a nice surprise.
I've had such a lovely time but am very much looking forward to getting home, seeing the cats, recuperating from this cold, and catching up with blip!
