window to soul

this is a keyring my mum gave me a few years ago, inscribed with the words 'open the window to your heart and let love heal'
At this time of year when everyone pins all their hopes on new beginnings and banishing the things they don't like about their lives by setting new goals and resolutions, it makes me remember times that made me happy but now cause me pain. My personal goal is to learn to let go.
