A Scene of Home

It's been a long day starting with a flight from Rotorua to Auckland.  Because our plane was delayed, my sister and I missed the connecting flight to Queenstown.  They gave us $30 lunch money each, so we had a nice meal before getting the plane to Qntn.  It was a lovely sunny flight, great seeing the snow covered mountains as we were descending to land.  Not much traffic to Luggate, then a smooth ride back to Wanaka.  I stopped at the lake front for a photo before heading for home.  The wind was very cold, so am pleased to be home with the fire going.

We all had a wonderful weekend, and look forward to our next gathering.  Time for a cuppa, and I'll unpack, then put my feet up.
