The face of the Royal Naval Reserves

Meet the delightful K. We met her today during a visit to some special friends of ours. My Mum and Joan met in Sunday School at the age of 3 and were best friends until Joan died a few years ago. Today we were entertained at the home of her son (D), daughter in law (J) along with one of their sons (C) and his girlfriend (above).

C is in the Royal Navy, currently stationed in Scotland after serving overseas. K is in the Naval Reserves and was chosen to represent them on a recent publicity leaflet. You can see why. We immediately warmed to the young couple who were excellent company.

This morning I finished designing the front page of the programme for the next walking festival. Tomorrow I must work on the adverts. So far so good.
