First two Conoco buildings almost done
We were away for a few days riding bikes on the old DRGW roadbed which has been transformed into a paved trail between Glenwood Springs and Aspen (Rails-to-Trails). This piece of track was called the Aspen branch back in the early 1900's. Wonderful facility. And at railroad grade almost the whole trip.
So when we got back, I finished construction - almost - of the Conoco office and garage. Still have to touch up the paint on the edges of the siding, and weather these puppies. Have to admit that Raggs to Riches makes a very good kit - perhaps the best out there. Great instructions, materials, adhesive advice, and the parts are dead on. A joy to build. No fussing. Even the corrugated siding and roofing went on well using the supplied double sided tape. I will touch up all the edges of all the buildings when I get them all done, before weathering. Just set them on the layout so. they are out of the way.
Next step is the large platform. So far so good.
