Gross und Chli Schärhorn

Today, I took the bus to the Klausenpass, and de off walking along the south side of Schachental. It was absolutely stunning, this was one of the highlights, the view of the Schärhorn with the most beautiful heard of goats bounding toward me. I hiked a good 17km, with amazing views around to the Brunni Beizli, a tiny restaurant nestled under the biggest limestone North Face in Switzerland, the Gross Ruschen. I met up with Mr S there, who was doing a mountain bike ride. We headed up to Sittlisalp where we stayed the night above the cows at the byherger Alp.
