Toddler Mummy hazelh

We're taking the little girl to the right of this photography on holiday to the north of Scotland tomorrow. It has to be said that she's aged somewhat since this picture was taken! It was in a photograph album that she packed to show me while she is with us for the next few days. We think that she was photographed with her mother and new baby sister in late 1942 or early 1943 in Benton, Newcastle.

Today I finished my co-authored journal article, cooked three vegetable bakes and a curry, and packed for our journey north tomorrow. We are all looking forward to our trip. The first stop will be Winsford's house in Pitlochry :-)
