After yesterday afternoon’s storms, the temperatures today were supposed to be a little lower, so we thought we would go hiking at Rowe Woods. However, Roger wanted to get the grass cut first, and it was almost noon before we made it out. I had imagined the humidity would also be lower after yesterday’s rain, but if it was, it didn’t feel it, so we still got rather sweaty as we walked! We saw several frogs on the ponds, but strangely enough no turtles. Butterflies and dragonflies were in abundance, including a huge swallowtail at one point, but unfortunately none of the butterflies were being photogenic, so a dragonfly it is! I had a nice cooling shower when we got home, then got a bit of housework done.
