Wow.... what a wind!!

I chose a good walk around the lighthouse point today to escape the worst of the wind... it isn't cold but it is surely blowing a hoolie!!  The Ladies Tower was fairly sheltered but the sea was boiling over the rocks in places.  The Eider duck had sensibly decided the calm waters to the east of the tower were a good place to hang out away from the storm.

I met a stonechat chatting in the long grass... lovely .. it was only about 10 feet away and busily keeping up the conversation.  Glad to be home and out of the wind... and relax.. it is sunday evening!
