Sunshine and showers

Another crazy start with the laundry. Being how the day started yesterday we decided to do the second half of the washing today. After all the weatherman had promised that today was going to be clear all day, or maybe we hadn't been listening properly :-). So we get the machine going and about 5 mins before the cycle should end the sky turned from nice blue into a not nice angry grey - and then it tipped down. This wasn't supposed to happen. We were going to hang out the washing and go out for the rest of the day. Intense debates about tumble driers etc ensued. And then a bit of blue started to show through the clouds. So we gambled on it. Out on the line with the washing and out for the day. It proved the right thing to do. Although anxious glances were cast at the sky for the rest of the day, we came back to dry laundry. Whoopee!! It doesn't take a lot to bring happiness into our simple lives :-)
