Colours of Alaska
I finally finished my pictorial/word tile of the Alaska trip, based on a water colour painting in an exhibition at An Lantair a few weeks back. The Hebridean one was needless to say completely more creative and interesting than this, from what I could gather all the colours were made from natural substances found in the Hebrides and what they depicted was more interesting like wind and bruise, actually on reflection I think mine is to. It will mean nothing to anyone else but for me it is a powerful reminder of a great experience. I think my favourite is called "feeling the minerals of Alaska under my boots". Plan to do the same for other special places - Colours of Cephalonia will be my next one.
