Okavango Delta pilot

We flew from Kasane to Kanana in the Okavango Delta region. Reportedly, these pilots are some of the best in the world. They take off and land in all conditions and on very basic strips. They do this repeatedly, day in, day out, acting like a taxi service for people and goods. I was very pleased that the first three pilots we came across on our trip were all female. What a magnificent example for my 11 year-old step-daughter who was with us. There was space for 6 passengers in the plane, but at times, we were the only passengers. Very special.
