Play ball!

After our late night last night, Roger and I were reluctant to get up at our customary early hour, to be at church for 8.15 for choir practice before first service at 9 am. By the time we got home, Jen and Jason had alredady left to return to Columbus as Jason was working in the afternoon. After lunch, Roger, Laura and I went downtown for a walk along the riverfront. However I hadnt realized how cold it was - it was definitely colder than when we left church and there was a bitterly cold wind.
The Great American Ballpark is home to the Cincinnati Reds baseball team and opened on March 28 2003. Previous to 2000, when Paul Brown Stadium was built for the Bengals (the football team), the Reds and the Bengals had shared Riverfront Stadium, later known as Cinergy Field, but both teams complained that the aging multipurpose facility lacked modern amenities and other things necessary for the teams' future. Both stadiums are located on the riverfront.
