Our next door neighbours have a pair of masked lapwings that have laid four eggs in their garden right by the house (again-they laid three eggs there last year) It's a holiday house so they don't have to put up with it every day but he's down at the moment and has to walk around with a giant stick and wave it around as they dive bomb him. They're super noisy and those spurs on their wings are pretty dangerous! They don't seem to be too bothered when we're out and about, for now anyway!
