Queen Square

This week has seen the 100 year anniversary of the Peterloo Massacre. Less well reported were The Bristol Reform Riots of 1831, when probably more protestors died in Queen Square than at St Peter's Field. The true numbers of casualties are unclear because many of the protestors were driven into the burning buildings.
