Knackered

After eight years of faithful service, the washing machine is kaput. It’s had a couple of minor repairs over the years but we are at the stage now where it’s just not cost-effective to keep fixing it.
Unfortunately it died while there was a lot of water still in it. This is my solution for draining it - the drain valve into a hosepipe leading outside.
That’s two motorised objects gone in a week. Think I’ll stay away from the car for a while...
