The end of the day

It was a busy day today. I was up with the larks to take the car to have two new tires fitted on the front of the car. I was told the damage to the alloy wheel is not terminal, though it does not look exactly like new! Hopefully that is the end of my encounter with a large pothole.

Lunch at John Lewis and a quick visit to the supermarket was followed by a trip down to the harbour. It was just starting to get dark, but the harbour was still a hive of activity, though the only movement on the shipping front while I was there was the arrival of a small fishing boat.
