Not quite the end
An afternoon in Carlisle, including a trip for two of the girls to the hairdresser - notice the curls and plaits. Lots of other stuff, but we finally returned home and ate at Ashiana in Appleby, now declared their very favourite restaurant - my blip is the three girls as we were ready to leave. But then we had to get back to watch some more of 'My Fair Lady' and they have gone to bed humming 'I could have danced all night'.
And the Little Shop was still open all day (oh except when it had a 'Sorry the shop is closed' sign up). Indeed the shelves had some new stock, as grandad took the little shopkeeper to M&S in Carlisle, where she was able to swap her 'doubles' for items she had not got. She was delighted. What joy and play value she has had from this simple set up.
