Another day

We took a slow lazy meander from Shimuwini to Mopani taking in all the opportunities to follow the river until we reached Pioneer dam where we spent ages watching elies, hippo and ginormous crocs.

Finally checked in at Mopani to find we had two cracking units overlooking the dam from the other side.

A wee wander before the camp gates closed resulted in this fine specimen being spotted, along with a plonker who decided to deny a rather large pachyderm who was trying to get to the water. He was duly charged and made a quick retreat back up the hill while the elie trumpeted his displeasure.

Nutter (the driver that is).

My extra is the typical winter sunset in this part of the park.
