Not the best of Saturdays!

I have been below par this week and yesterday things got worse. After a painful night last night I went to Dr this morning who after doing bloods thankfully referred me to A&E. I was so well looked after and the A&E consultant Mr Sen and the 2 nurses Pam and Clare were wonderful. I had more blood tests and a chest X-ray. It turns out I have pleurisy. It’s in the lower corner of my lung and apparently that’s why I have so much pain! I had antibiotic drip, painkillers and eventually morphine. Home now after only 2 hours and more comfortable. Bit light headed due to morphine!! I can’t thank the Dr and all at A&E enough for the care and professionalism they showed. Time for a catch up on last nights lack of sleep I think!
