An intimate Lunch

A thoroughly enjoyable day, despite the weather.  In my past working life this would have been the first day of the V Festival weekend (now no more) and it was certainly reminiscent of past events (we were rarely fortunate with the weather!).

We started in Wolverhampton, where we visited the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the museum and art gallery (Thanks Helwild for letting me know).  An inspirational and thought provoking exhibition of 100 images.  I love that they back light the images in a darkened room because they deserve that treatment to bring out the magnificence of the photographers' work.

Then a quiet lunch at our favourite pub before a relaxing evening at home.
