The last day has dawned and this afternoon A and I will drive to Toulouse for the night before I begin the journey home to Aus.
France has icons a plenty.
Baguette and croissant, cassoulet and circulades, poppies and sunflowers, 2cvs and champagne to name but a few and I've had the opportunity to enjoy and experience many of them during the past few weeks.
As we travelled in Provence and the Languedoc 'Vincent's cypresses' 'peopled' the landscape in rows and stands and vines lay in lines across the land and here they are in A and L's village doing the very same!
Magical.
