P leaving for a holiday in Greece.  I accompanied him on the train to Edinburgh this morning.   

Went to see the Romanovs exhibition at the Queens Gallery.   Really excellent look at the links between the British and Russian monarchy.  The Royal Collection always does good audio guides and this was no exception. Afterwards dropped into the Press Photographers exhibition at the Scottish Parliament.

Weather got warmer as the day went on and spent a happy hour watching a flock of goosanders from the beach.
