Great idea

Yesterday, I blipped Mackintosh’s magnificent Hill House, a triumph of design ahead of his time.

Today, I’m blipping a bit of contemporary craziness.

I booked a hotel room with an en suite. It’s a great place, with a lovely owner/manager. When she showed me to my room, I commented about the absence of the en suite.

She laughed. I wasn’t the first guest to fail to notice the tromp d’oeil. ......

EDIT. An early blip. It’s going to be a busy day. No rain for the wedding, please.....

EDIT: Our prayers were answered. We had dry weather for the ceremony outside, and some beautiful blue skies. A wonderful occasion. Thank you my friends for crossing your fingers too.
