Self Portrait With Yellow Leaves
Overcast and chilly all day. I was trying to warm up by reading a book in the sun.
We made our first Cherry Tomato Pasta of the season, an old favorite from the The Greens cookbook. Bright fresh tomatoes, garlic, and parsley, all from the garden, lightly warmed in olive oil and that's it. A little parmesan. Mop it up with a nice chunk of bread. A side of zucchini and some cucumbers. I'm always so thrilled when so much of what's on the table comes straight from the garden. This is the month!
