Flying Calendar...

I like the odd bit of origami but my most favourite type of paper folding is the paper plane. Traditional origami usually builds static models that just sit and gather dust. Paper planes have purpose beyond the asthetic.

I was given a rather cool calendar for christmas which is a different paper plane every day from 30 different models.

Did you see James May's Toy Stories when he flew a model glider across the distance of the English channel. Very interesting programme overall but it had a section about paper airplanes found in the renovation of a church that could quite possibly have been made before the Wright brothers made their first flight in 1903.
