Things will look better in the morning- not ...

Rain this morning, but not as bad as was forecast .
Took Kev down the road to collect the tractor and trailer we left there last night. In daylight the field looked worse than it did in the dark. In a dry year we usually get away with it, but this harvest there are 2-3 acres that we couldn’t cut . And some of the bits the combine got through I couldn’t get near to bale the straw.
Spent the rest of the morning working with cattle, tagging calves and hauling more heifer calves up the hill.
Mrs F and Littlemiss away to the big smoke to join in the festival fringe goings on..
Last nights 4 hrs sleep are now catching up , so in the words of Zebadee, time for bed .
