Monarda in the rain

I stood very still by the two new bird feeders today. First a robin came, studied me and decided that it was safe to use the seed feeder. And then some long tailed tits used the fat feeder. And of course I didn’t have my camera with me.

The rain started at lunchtime and continued.

I rushed outside and got wet taking the photo of the monarda. I planted it last year so this is the first year that it has flowered. It’s rather lovely.

HtP had some chores this evening so I didn’t see him and I’ve used the time to do some cleaning.
