Pink Frills

Crepe Myrtle trees/shrubs are very popular in my neighborhood.  They thrive in our climate, and the branches, bark and blooms provide beauty year round. They are in full bloom now, with white, pink, purple or red flowers lighting up our yards.  This one is next to my sidewalk, and the branches have grown long enough that the tips reach down to eye level. The only downside is I end up with this pink petals all over my car.
