Newcastle

Well that was a noisy journey... not for us but for those around us. We managed to distract with music, cards, food and yahtzhe. The 45 minute delay at signal failure didn't help.

The people sat all around us were very kind and smiley. Quite a few wished us well as we left the train.

We are now settled into our hotel. This is a weekend away treat for our (not so) little one. He didn't want presents for his 18th birthday, so everyone donated to his birthday fund for his choice of a weekend away.
