At ease

Its been a beautiful day here today - far too nice to be cooped up in the office
all day so I nipped out in the car at lunchtime heading for the Tittenley Pool, just outside Market Drayton which is home to lots of wildfowl (and a few fisherfolk), but when I got there the Canada Geese were on the other side of the bank, there were just a few Mallard on the water and some other ducks had just flown over to another eating establishment. The sky was gorgeous though and the pool was looking lovely so I took a few shots and tried a few in b/w too; but on the way back to work I saw this lovely swan taking advantage of yet more standing water in one of the fields, so decided to go with this as my pool shots were not all that good. The pool is such a tranquil and peaceful place so I will be visiting again and hope to show you some great blips of it?!

Had a very busy afternoon and didn't get home from work 'til after 7pm so was very glad to have bagged a blip at lunchtime. So glad its Friday tomorrow, I'm really tired, and I've only done a 2 day week so far!
