Flying the nest

So the big news today was, after she had shaved and bleached her hair, Eve moved into Embra to share a flat with her big sister.

As you can see from the van, Eve is the green fingered member of the family.

Ruby had done a deep clean and got everything ready for Eve’s arrival. And once we’d unpacked the van we left them to it. I doubt it would be long before they unearthed the Prosecco we’d sneaked in.

Talking of fizzy stuff, Mrs Smith had her third original script of the year optioned this morning. By one of the producers behind something called Game of Thrones. So, there may be some celebrating done here too. Although I think everyone is a bit emotionally wrought. Chinese banquet tonight for me, Mrs S and Joe and a quietly happy and reflective evening ahead I reckon.
