Flowers in the rain

It might still be the middle of August, but it feels more like October.  Wet, cold and windy outside; we succumbed and put a bit of heating on this afternoon.  There's not a lot of incentive to venture outside so this is a sunflower from a vase to try and remind us what the sun actually looks like.
