I did open the door.....

....and get a bit wet to take this.  Goodness, what an awful day....such a shame for the Dunster Show.  A great deal of work goes into these things and I'm afraid, just like the Bristol Balloon Festival, it'll have been a bit of a washout today.

This is, as you can see, a Cosmos.  A friend gave me the plants but I didn't know that they were the ones with the tubular petals.  I really prefer the open petals but the bees don't seem to mind.
