Zucchero Fornaciari to Zak van Niekerk

'Z' iz for Zucchero and Zak! ;-)

Life can be tough at times! Zak was born 8 years after Zucchero started his singin career, yet Zucchero still entertains our ears whilst Zak was killed in a car accident, on his way to a performance, caused by a wreckless driver making a U-turn on a national highway. 9 months ago already!

RIP dear, humble Zak! He was such a lovely, lively, joker singer of note! Left his young wife and two lovely little boys, the youngest only a couple months old, behind! He stayed in the same street as us and walked his babies often late afternoon, and always had a few minutes to spare, to make conversation with our gate guard, Fanie!

Zak, you will also be missed by your family, friends and fans in South Africa and we wish your lovely wife Sonja and the two boys peace and may God grant them the strength to come to terms with his untimely death!

I planned on quite a beautiful 'Z' for tonday, but the pics were not to great, will try and snap it again tomorrow!! ;-)
