Getting A Bit Behind

Life's been a bit busy and I'm very behind in keeping up with folks' stories and even getting my own blips put up.

We got safely to Edinburgh after a detour up the M8 to avoid road closures at Biggar. Had a nice afternoon in Morningside and found some things for more still-life shots.

We picked Kat up from work and headed off to the allotment to get the grass clippings into the compost bins. She was disappointed that wasps had been helping themselves to her pears. In view of the fact I'm going to an insect photo exhibition tomorrow, Friday, I'm using these as my blips today.

I would have prefered a wasp for my main shot but the focus wasn't perfect.
