at the beach

i'm not a morning person. waking up before 10am was never my cup of tea. but we started the day early.

took the bus to the beach area and took a million pictures of my couz, Tien. she likes having her picture taken and i need a model to practice, so it works out. it was a lot of fun. even though i look at so many posing guides, none of them seem to stick with when i'm out there with my point-and-shoot -_-

then we went into Phan Thiet city center. had some fruits and drinks at the Co-Op Mart, then took xe om over to Phan Thiet marketplace to buy fish sauce and dried fish. in the evening, we took the bus in the opposite direction to see where it goes, then we stopped by Mui Ne marketplace for dinner.

i tried bánh c?n for the first time. supposedly it's a local specialty. it was delicious! i love it! i hope i can find it outside of Phan Thiet too because i want to eat it again.
