Ste Marguerite Chapel

This area of Vaucluse is steeped in Roman history. Today we walked along an old Roman road to explore an old quarry that the Romans had carved. This chapel's history dates back to Roman times and there is a roman sarcophagus outside the Chapel. I love the feeling that people have lived here for centuries and left a footprint. Our only companions were cicadas, grasshoppers butterflies and lizards. Perfect!
