15 August 1945 - VJ Day

Everyone knows V.E. day when Nazi Germany surrendered but most people forget about V.J. day, the day that the Empire of Japan was hammered into submission by the dropping of two Atomic bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. A dreadful act but how long it would have dragged on otherwise would have been anyone's guess.
Each year we attend wreath laying for VE and VJ day as well as commemorations for ANZAC, the battle of Imjin River, and others.
