Concrete

We used our annual pass to Dalby for a walk on Adderstone Rigg. This concrete Nissen Hut was created by Rachel Whiteread. It commemorates the end of the First World War and the creation of the Forestry Commission. It is part of the Shy Landscape series and celebrates these military structures.

We then had a longer walk with Jet where we encountered the Gruffalo in the extra. We warned of some young adders near a bench on the walk but fortunately they had slipped away before we reached the bench. Would have made an interesting blip though.
