Denver Windmill

Went to Denver Sluice today.  Very sunny and the wind was so strong I had to lean against a tree to keep the camera from wobbling.  The Sluice is interesting but hardly photogenic so I contented myself with taking shots of parts of the construction that interested me.  On the way back, we stopped in Denver by the windmill as we saw that teas were on offer.  Too late at 4.10pm but the warden saw us and told us to come in for a drink at the bar which conveniently opened as the tearoom closed.  Chatted about cameras and photography and then learned something of the history of the windmill.  So the afternoon turned out well.
