Life with Alice

At the Dog Club

Today we went to the dog club to practice nosework. It’s a great place to do it because there are a number of small buildings with stairs and steps where the scent can be hidden for me to find, and also outdoor furniture and an old tractor and ploughs that can be fitted on the tractor during winter. It went well. We finished by doing a bit of agility, which was fun.

It is now crayfish season. There has been a taste test going on. Mum and Grandma bought one crayfish each (they are ridiculously expensive) from three different places and have now decided on their favourite for the crayfish party that will take place later. Why bother, I’m wondering. So much work for a very small amount of food. And I usually get just a super tiny piece because it’s too salty. Maybe there will be cheese?
